 1 tsp salt
 ½ tsp black pepper
 ½ tsp garlic powder
 ½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)
 2 tbsp olive oil
 2 tbsp unsalted butter
For the Marsala Sauce
8 oz cremini or button mushrooms (sliced)
 2 cloves garlic (minced)
 ¾ cup dry Marsala wine

2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
For Serving
Mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables
Prepare the Chicken

  • Pound the Chicken (Optional):
    • If the chicken breasts are thick, place them between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even 1/2-inch thickness.
  • Season and Coat:
    • In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
    • Dredge each chicken cutlet in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.

  • Simmer and Add Broth:
    • Let the wine reduce by half (about 2-3 minutes), then add chicken broth.
    • If using, stir in Dijon mustard for extra depth.
  • Thicken the Sauce (Optional):
