A hearty, flavorful twist on the classic American meatloaf, this version is enriched with a bold bourbon glaze that adds a smoky-sweet depth to every bite.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, eggs, milk, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley.
Mix thoroughly using clean hands or a wooden spoon until well combined.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a parchment-lined or greased baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, bourbon, brown sugar, vinegar, Dijon mustard, and soy sauce.
Stir well and simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Brush half the glaze over the meatloaf.
Bake for 40 minutes, then brush the remaining glaze on top.
Return to oven and bake an additional 20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, or roasted vegetables.
Pairs beautifully with creamy mashed potatoes or buttered corn.
Serve with a simple green salad to balance the richness.
