Sweet strawberries, fresh basil, and tangy balsamic glaze layered on crispy toasted bread. This strawberry & balsamic bruschetta is an easy yet elegant appetizer perfect for Valentine’s Day, summer gatherings, or romantic dinners.

Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F.
Arrange bread slices on a baking tray. Brush lightly with olive oil.
Toast for 8–10 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp. Remove and let cool slightly.
In a bowl, combine diced strawberries, chopped basil, balsamic glaze, honey (if using), salt, and black pepper.
Gently toss until well coated. Let rest for 5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
Optional: Spread a thin layer of ricotta or goat cheese on each toasted bread slice.
