1 cup chopped kale, stems removed (or ½ cup if you're new to kale)
1 small green apple, cored and chopped
 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
½ cup cucumber, peeled and sliced
½ tbsp resh ginger, grated (or ¼ tsp ground ginger)
 Juice of ½ lemon
¾ cup cold water or coconut water
Optional: 1 teaspoon chia seeds or flaxseed
Optional: 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (if needed for sweetness)
 Ice cubes (optional, for texture)

  1. Add water (or coconut water) to the blender first.

  2. Add the kale, apple, pineapple, cucumber, ginger, lemon juice, and any optional ingredients.

  3. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until smooth. Add ice and blend again if you'd like it chilled and slushy.

  4. Taste — if it's too "green" for you, a little honey or more pineapple will mellow it out.

  5. Pour into glasses and garnish with a lemon slice or mint sprig. Sip and feel the glow!
